Challenger Banks - soon to become an important fixture?

On behalf of CREALOGIX, the market research institute CENSUSWIDE conducted an online survey throughout Switzerland and Germany with 1,500 banking customers.

But how well-known and attractive are the challengers‘ services actually for customers in Switzerland and Germany? How open are consumers to new offers, and would they turn their backs on their house bank?

The survey revealed that almost 70% of banking users would be willing to open a new bank account if it offered them an improved mobile banking experience.

Thus, only 31.4% are fully satisfied with their current mobile banking experience, and 36.7% are considering opening an account with a mobile-only bank within the next 12 months.
