VZ Depotbank, an independent company of the VZ Group, has commissioned the digital banking software provider CREALOGIX to implement the CREALOGIX Mobile Application Platform. In Switzerland, the solution will go live at the end of the year; the roll-out for VZ Depotbank Deutschland AG is planned for 2019.
Two years ago, CREALOGIX implemented the CREALOGIX Digital Banking Hub at VZ Depotbank, combining CREALOGIX Online Banking and VZ Depotbank's financial portal into a comprehensive solution for desktop use. The current implementation will allow the customers of VZ Depotbank to perform all of the banking functions and use the extensive features of the VZ financial portal on their mobile devices – these range from financial investment and pension topics to insurance and tax-relevant information.

Flexible integration of third-party providers through the CREALOGIX Mobile Application Platform
This is made possible by the CREALOGIX Mobile Application Platform, which brings together a wide variety of applications in a secure app. At VZ Depotbank, a financial news app from the Web Financial Group will initially be provided as a third party component via the Mobile Application Platform. This is in addition to the VZ financial portal and various CREALOGIX products such as the payment scanner. Thanks to the Mobile Application Platform, which can be expanded in a flexible manner, VZ Depotbank customers will be able to execute all desired transactions and access all financial information and services via a single app without having to leave the secure environment of the platform.
Secure and convenient authentication via PushTAN
Authentication is also made a lot easier for customers of VZ Depotbank: in addition to the previous FotoTAN procedure, the PushTAN procedure will be used in future. This will allow bank customers to trigger a transaction by confirming a simple push message on their smartphone. PushTAN authentication can also be used for desktop banking and is therefore also attractive for users who want to continue banking on their PCs. As an alternative to logging in with a username and password, users will also be able to log in via Touch ID (fingerprint recognition) or Face ID (face recognition).
