The appointment of René Raabe as Head of Sales Private Banking follows the realignment of CREALOGIX into Retail Banking, Private Banking and Corporate Banking announced last year. Michael Niederjohann, Head of Digital Payment, will strengthen CREALOGIX’s end-customer business.
Software house CREALOGIX, which specialises in innovative digital banking solutions, has appointed René Raabe as Head of Sales Private Banking and Michael Niederjohann as Head of Digital Payment with effect from 1 May. The position of Head of Sales Private Banking was created in the course of the restructuring of the three core divisions: Retail Banking, Private Banking and Corporate Banking. Oliver Weber, Executive Vice President Digital Banking at CREALOGIX Switzerland, says:
“By focusing on these three core segments, we can better respond to the client needs of the cantonal and private banks. Our Swiss clients can increasingly benefit from our know-how and developments, even across national borders.”
René Raabe was previously Sales Director at Avaloq, where he was responsible for expanding the existing client base in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. He worked for Bank J. Safra Sarasin for more than seven years, most recently as Head Family Office Services. He therefore brings with him a wealth of expertise in private banking. Raabe, Head of Sales Private Banking, says:
“I am delighted to be part of CREALOGIX’s realignment and look forward to working closely with our existing and future private banking clients.”
Weber added:
“We are delighted to welcome René Raabe as Head of Sales Private Banking. His extensive experience in Private Banking will enable him to support us in the successful implementation of our strategy. In addition to products for our bank customers, this also includes new digital payment products for end customers. We are also delighted that Michael Niederjohann will be joining us as Head of Digital Payment."
Michael Niederjohann was most recently a member of the management board at Arcplace AG and previously spent six years in various management positions at the credit card company Swisscard AECS GmbH. Niederjohann commented:
“I look forward to the new challenge of further strengthening CREALOGIX’s strategy in the B2C sector as well. The goal is the successful positioning of new payment software and hardware products such as PayEye.”
PayEye, the new Swiss QR Code Reader, will open up a new dimension in payment transactions from 2020. All payment-relevant information on an invoice is contained in the Swiss QR Code and is immediately recorded, checked and transferred to the financial software or online banking by PayEye. ISR (orange inpayment slip with structured reference number) and IBAN can also be read, checked and transferred conveniently and securely with the PayEye.
