CREALOGIX, one of the leading fintech companies from Switzerland, successfully organised this year’s Digital Banking Day 2017 in Munich on 22 September 2017.

Fintechs and technology partners can provide significant support to banks in the area of digitalisation and thus secure the business of the future. Whoever opens up to digital innovations, embraces them and places greater focus on changing customer needs, has a good chance of developing to become the primary bank.”
Open API, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology are driving the bank revolution
In various specialist talks, the current top issues in digital banking were explained from different perspectives. Sandra Daub, Group Head of Product Management at CREALOGIX, shared her conviction in the open Application Programming Interface (API). The open API, with the security of CREALOGIX, allows the seamless integration of new financial services, such as those already being offered successfully on weltsparen.de. Harald Murgas from the IBM Watson IoT Center explained how artificial intelligence will change banking. He outlined new strategic possibilities and the potential of cognitive banking. Philipp Sandner reported on the use of blockchain technology. The technology behind Bitcoin will not only revolutionise banks, but also has implications for the entire economy. Marc Letzing, Metamorf Business Consulting GmbH, described the future role of people in the financial industry. They will be relieved of operative tasks and can then devote even more time and resources to consulting.
