CREALOGIX is further expanding its cooperation with Swissmem Vocational Training. After many years of successful cooperation in commercial occupations, the use of "time2learn" will in future also be possible for technical mechanical and electrical engineering (MEM) occupations. The solution allows training companies to carry out vocational training management on a uniformed platform for all job fields. Centralisation significantly increases efficiency and clarity in the training of apprentices.

With the use of "time2learn" from CREALOGIX, companies in the MEM industry have a centralised tool for training management in technical and commercial occupations. The solution supports apprentices and vocational trainers in the companies as well as instructors in the inter-company courses during the entire training process.

Arthur Glättli, Managing Director of Swissmem Vocational Training, says:

"It is important for Swissmem that companies in the MEM sector find digital tools on the market that facilitate the training of apprentices and make it more efficient. On the basis of the positive experience of ‘time2learn’ in our industry with the training for commercial occupations, we consider it beneficial to integrate technical mechanical and electrical engineering professions into CREALOGIX’s solution. The training and learning platform meets the needs of many of our companies for lean processes very well and helps to further promote digitisation in dual education in the Swiss mechanical and electrical engineering industry."

Centralised information for better control

The whole training management is covered by a single platform completely paperless: from training planning and learning documentation, to probationary period and training reports, as well as experience grades. The digital module for occupational safety will be available to all training companies from summer 2019 on.

Roland Gmür, Head of Vocational Education at CREALOGIX Switzerland, says:

"The aim of CREALOGIX and Swissmem is to continuously improve the quality of basic vocational training. Our intensive exchange forms the basis for this: Swissmem passes on innovative developments in vocational training and the curriculum to us and we depict them in 'time2learn'. In addition, the much-cited learning location cooperation, i.e. the exchange of information between the three learning locations of company, school and inter-company courses, is only made possible in the first place."

Smart commute with App

With the start of teaching in the summer of 2019, it will be even easier for learners to use the cloud solution for their daily work. They can create learning documentation on their mobile app on the go and finalise it at home on the desktop. Learning content such as eBooks or eLearning Courses can also be accessed anywhere and at any time via the personal smartphone. This provides even better support for the learning process.
