Consorsbank presses on with its reorientation as a “digital Volksbank”, setting a new benchmark in digital banking with its new design, new apps and the financial planner.
The name change from Cortal Consors to “Consorsbank” signals a full-scale revamping of the image of the direct bank from Nürnberg. First and foremost, alongside its new name and corporate design, are the new website and apps – all part of Consorsbank’s drive to present itself as a “digital Volksbank”.
The new Consorsbank Financial Planner is a key part of the realignment. The solution’s technology is based on the innovative digital banking platform from CREALOGIX, which integrates the Personal Finance Management (PFM) solution from Meniga. The solution implemented, which was developed specifically to enable simple modification and integration into existing online systems, automatically categorises all individual transactions. This gives Consorsbank customers a complete overview of all credits and debits by showing all data from their accounts and credit cards with the bank in a summary. Customers can also view their expenditures and income in the form of various charts and reports. This shows Consorsbank customers how much money they spent on what things at a glance. The free apps give customers access to their credits and debits anytime, anywhere.
CREALOGIX (Deutschland) AG will be responsible for making all innovations in the technical implementation of the digital strategy possible – whether that means the implementation of the PFM or the upgrade to the Online Financial Solutions platform. “We are very proud to have supported Consorsbank, one of Germany’s top ten direct banks, in its digital strategy over the past 10 years,” says Thomas Brandt, Member of the Managing Board of CREALOGIX (Deutschland) AG. “It shows us that our innovative products for tomorrow’s digital bank are gaining popularity on the market and helping banks in their digital transformation.”
Consorsbank is eyeing further services in future: the ability to add third-party accounts from other banks, create savings plans and plan budgets (see FAQs of Consorsbank https://www.consorsbank.de/ev/Girokonto/-/Finanzplaner#FAQ). With these additional features Consorsbank will set the course for further digitalisation and offer its customers significant added value and benefits.
